About the Role

• Safely and efficiently operate various types of farm equipment. Ranging from sprayers, combines, semis with grain trailers, large tractors, trucks, pickups, and all the implements associated.
• Keep detailed electronic records of all applications and inventory with the use of our software systems.
• Assist onsite manager with field crop production processes. Planning of production resources such as manpower, machinery, equipment, tools, facilities, and raw materials, needed to execute dryland crop production.
• Verify and enter accurate reports and data for inventory and process management through online and computer systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and facilities when instructed.
• Participate in other duties as assigned when not involved in specific crop activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

  • Currently hold or plan to obtain pesticide applicators license.

  • Previous pesticide application experience preferred.

  • Experience with computer applications and mobile applications.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Able to work in variable weather, stand, bend twist, lift, pull, push, and turn items up to 50 pounds.

  • Able to work overtime and weekends when necessary.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work well in group settings and independently.

  • Mechanical skills and large equipment maintenance experience.

We produce dry land wheat, corn, milo, and millet. We are seeking equipment operators and overall farm support personnel to join our team at both of our locations in Bennett and Lindon Colorado. This is a unique opportunity to showcase valuable experience and participate in the success of a modern small grain’s operation. We have established a long-standing production plan lasting 125 years.
As a team member you will focus on efficient field and crop production processes. Your role captures the essence of farming by using your agronomic and equipment knowledge. Your ability to execute and assist in operations allows you to participate in the production of crops such as wheat, corn, milo, and millet. Using your individual leadership and personal management skills you will foster creative solutions with our other team members.
