DLG240 is a medium to late maturing white seeded proso millet variety with dark green foliage, good straw strength, and compact panicle. Its higher grains per panicle and longer grain filing period results in a 10-20% higher yield compared to other commercially available varieties.
This variety needs a full season to complete its growth and yield advantage, so planting in early June is highly recommended.
